Fairy Fancy

Imagine the mystery of a Fairy. Imagine the hearts of those that believe in them. Imagine…

Other than nursery rhymes, a more relevant exposure to Fairies came from my sister-in-law Kristi. She spoke of them as real creatures living in the ivy that surrounds a beautifully aged oak tree in her back yard. From time to time I would secretly place a miniature Fairy statue or tiny furniture piece just outside her back door, hoping she would think the fair folk were up to their mischief. At the time, I didn’t actually believe…just up to my own brand of mischief.

Four years later…not only do I believe in Fairies, I write about them, look to the moon for luck, and know that crystals are an intricate part of the world’s balance. I discovered my inner Witch, and enjoy the mystery of the unknown.

Here is a keepsake book that I made for Kristi. It is a poem written for her, adorned with paper crafting, and accompanied by a few quotes. Notes follow each picture. Let me know your thoughts.
